Brian Terry Miller, DO, of Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Central Texas has been a practicing allergist/immunologist in Central Texas since 1985. He currently has offices in South Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Killeen, Texas.
He is board-certified in Allergy and Asthma, and also in Internal Medicine. He received comprehensive training in Pediatrics and Adult medicine for Allergy and Immunology. He is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Internal Medicine.
He graduated in 1971 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry. He spent 3 years at Sam Houston University as a graduate student of Chemistry and a Teaching Assistant. He graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine/UNT Health Science Center with a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 1979. He then entered the United States Army Medical Corp and completed a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He completed his fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Miller approaches human disease with a holistic/ayurvedic perspective and treats the person, not just the disease state. His specialties include allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma, food allergies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, allergic headaches, atopic dermatitis (eczema) and urticaria (hives). Comorbid disease states include anxiety/depression, GERD, IBS, and sleep disorders. Dr. Miller also has a special interest in hereditary angioedema (HAE) and mast cell activation disease.
Dr. Miller’s hobbies include NY Times crossword puzzles, stained glass, and fishing.
